Care Guide

1. Light:

  • Prefers bright, indirect light.

  • Can tolerate some morning sun but avoid harsh midday sun to prevent leaf burn.

  • Indoors, a north- or east-facing window or filtered light works well.

2. Temperature:

  • Day: 65–75°F (18–24°C)

  • Night: 50–60°F (10–16°C)

  • Tolerates cooler temperatures better than tropical Vandas; avoid frost.

3. Humidity:

  • Prefers 50–70% humidity.

  • Mist occasionally if indoor air is dry.

  • Good air circulation is important to prevent fungal issues.

4. Watering:

  • Keep roots slightly moist but not waterlogged.

  • Water more frequently during the growing season, reduce during cooler months.

  • Allow medium or mounting surface to dry slightly between waterings.

5. Fertilizer:

  • Use a diluted orchid fertilizer (½ strength) every 2 weeks during active growth.

  • Reduce feeding during winter or dormant periods.

6. Mounting/Potting:

  • Grows well in small pots with sphagnum moss, bark, or mounted on cork/wood slabs.

  • Ensure excellent drainage and airflow around roots.

7. Flowering:

  • Blooms in late winter to early spring, producing small, delicate flowers along short spikes.

  • Flowers last 1–2 weeks but can appear in successive waves if conditions are good.

We always choose overnight or express shipping options. Once shipped, most orders arrive in 1-2 days in Canada and the USA. Depending on your location, shipping might take longer. Occassionally, customs clearance might take an additional day.

A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. You can also find your order and tracking information under your account.
