The undersides of the leaves often display a reddish tint, adding to the plant's visual appeal. The leaf surface is typically smooth, with a glossy finish that enhances its aesthetic value.

• Growth Habit: This species is epiphytic, meaning it naturally grows on other surfaces such as rocks or driftwood in its native habitat. In aquariums, it can be attached to hardscapes using aquarium-safe glue or fishing line. The plant exhibits a slow to moderate growth rate, with new leaves emerging gradually over time. Typically, a rhizome with around five leaves can take approximately two weeks to grow a new leaf.
