The Bridal Veil plant, also known as Gibasis geniculata, is a delicate and graceful trailing plant that is popular for its cascading foliage and dainty white flowers. Sometimes referred to as Tahitian Bridal Veil, it is native to Central and South America and is often used in hanging baskets or as an indoor plant due to its lush, ornamental appearance.

Key Features:

1. Foliage: Small, dark green leaves with a slightly glossy finish create a dense, flowing cascade. The undersides of the leaves may have a purplish tint, adding a subtle color contrast.

2. Flowers: Tiny, pure white blooms appear sporadically throughout the year, giving the plant its "bridal veil" name.

Care Tips:

1. Light: Prefers bright, indirect light for optimal growth. Too much direct sunlight can scorch the leaves, while insufficient light may result in leggy growth.

2. Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top inch of soil to dry slightly between waterings to avoid root rot.

3. Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity levels. Misting occasionally or placing it near a humidifier can help maintain its lush appearance.

4. Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures between 18-26°C (65-80°F). Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 10°C (50°F).

5. Soil: Well-draining potting soil is essential. A mix of peat moss and perlite works well to prevent waterlogging.

6. Pruning: Trim back leggy or overgrown stems to encourage fuller growth and maintain its neat, cascading form.

7. Fertilizer: Feed with a diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).

Additional Notes:

Trailing Habit: Ideal for hanging baskets, where its trailing stems can cascade elegantly.

Pests: Keep an eye out for common pests like spider mites or aphids, especially in dry conditions. Clean the leaves regularly to keep the plant healthy.

Propagation: Easily propagated
