Anthurium radicans x luxurians is a stunning hybrid known for its deeply textured, glossy green leaves that have a quilted, almost reptilian appearance. It combines the creeping growth habit of Anthurium radicans with the thick, ridged foliage of Anthurium luxurians, making it a highly sought-after plant among collectors.

Care Guide for Anthurium Radicans x Luxurians

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Keep the soil slightly moist but not soggy. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity (70%+). A humidifier or greenhouse cabinet can help.

Temperature: Prefers warm conditions (18-27°C). Avoid cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.

Soil: Use a chunky, well-draining mix—orchid bark, perlite, and peat-based potting soil work well.

Fertilizer: Feed every 4-6 weeks during the growing season with a diluted, balanced liquid fertilizer.

Growth Habit: This hybrid tends to be more compact and creeping, making it ideal for terrariums or decorative planters.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested.
