The Forgetti is an Anthurium species grown native to Columbia. The Forgetti is sought after for its round, tear-shaped leaf and silver veining. It is known to be one of the easier Anthuriums, so it is a great plant to grab if you are starting to expand your collection.

Like most Anthuriums, the Forgetii appreciates a chunky potting medium allowing air to reach the roots.

The Forgetti likes to drink but doesn't like to get wild. So you should keep your soil consistently moist but let it dry out ever so slightly.

When it is time for a drink, give it a good thorough watering. You want to see water coming out the bottom of the pot. My favorite way to water my plants is at the sink.

If soaking your plant sounds scary, remember it is not about how much you water; it is about how often you water. Remember that a moisture meter will not read accurately in a chunky potting medium. Instead, feel the medium and lift the pot to help gauge if the plant needs to be watered.

Forgetti's dark foliage is easy to bleach with too much sun. But, as everyone would say ", it needs bright indirect light," which is accurate but confusing.

It will do best pulled back from a West window or sitting in an East window. If you use a grow light, you may have to play around with the light distance before finding its perfect home.

Do you ship year-round?

Yes – we ship every week of the year! However, in the case of extreme weather conditions or emergency situations (e.g. flooding/fires that would interupt couriers), we may delay shipping until it is safe to ship.

How long will it take to recieve my order?

We always choose overnight or express shipping options. Once shipped, most orders arrive in 1-2 days in Canada and the USA. Depending on your location, shipping might take longer. Occassionally, customs clearance might take an additional day.

Where do products ship from?

We ship orders from our store or specialized grow facility in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Do I recieve a tracking number?

A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. You can also find your order and tracking information under your account.

What's the process to return an item if I decide I don'twant it?

We will gladly accept returns for a refund, provided the items and plants have not been damaged, propogated, or repotted. Returned plants are subject to a 10% restocking fee, due to the recovery care needed for returned plants, and shipping/permit costs are nonrefundable. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs as well as all paperwork required to ship back to Canada (e.g. phytosanitary certificates).
