Anthurium andreanum, commonly known as the Flamingo Flower or Laceleaf, is a tropical plant prized for its glossy, heart-shaped leaves and vibrant, waxy spathes, often mistaken for flowers. The spathes come in various colors, including red, pink, white, or orange, with a contrasting spadix at the center.

Growth and Care:

Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.

Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer to dry slightly between waterings.

Humidity: Prefers high humidity; misting or using a humidifier can help.

Temperature: Optimal range is 18-28°C (65-82°F); avoid cold drafts.

Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix, such as one designed for orchids or a mix with peat and perlite.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer during the growing season.

This plant is a favorite for its long-lasting, vibrant appearance and ability to thrive indoors with proper care. It's a striking choice for adding a tropical vibe to your space.

We always choose overnight or express shipping options. Once shipped, most orders arrive in 1-2 days in Canada and the USA. Depending on your location, shipping might take longer. Occassionally, customs clearance might take an additional day.
